The Beginning

In 2000, GarageTek was launched and in many ways, a new home improvement market category opened up. That year, GarageTek became the first U.S. national firm to offer a custom, installed garage organisation and storage system. In 2001, the first franchise opened for business.

GarageTek comes to South Africa
February 2008, GarageTek entered the South African market initially servicing Gauteng from our office in Meadowdale. Plans are already in place for a national franchise network to grow the garage organisation category and the GarageTek Brand.
Since our launch GarageTek has exhibited at the Decorex home show and HomeMakers Expo where we have been awarded for stand and design excellence and greeted with an overwhelming response. Since then we have had the pleasure to transform garages, throughout Gauteng from dumping grounds into safe and functional spaces.
